Client: The Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts & Sciences
Objective: Design a bold, high-visibility flyer to promote LBIF’s Summer 2026 event lineup across Long Beach Island and surrounding communities. The goal was to increase awareness, drive ticket sales and registrations, and position LBIF as a vibrant, must-visit destination throughout the summer season.
Target Audience: Local residents, seasonal homeowners, vacationing families, and culturally engaged visitors on Long Beach Island. The audience includes families seeking community events, art collectors and patrons, environmentally curious residents, and longtime LBIF supporters looking for meaningful summer experiences.
The flyer uses oversized typography and a vertical, color-blocked layout to immediately capture attention in high-traffic community spaces such as coffee shops, local businesses, bulletin boards, and public gathering areas. Each event is assigned a distinct, vibrant color band, allowing viewers to quickly scan dates and offerings without visual confusion.
Large numerical date markers create strong visual anchors, making the timeline intuitive and easy to follow. Hierarchical typography separates event titles, dates, pricing, and descriptions, ensuring clarity even at a distance.
By combining bold scale, bright seasonal color, and structured information design, the flyer solves the challenge of promoting multiple summer events within a single printed piece—delivering maximum readability, visual energy, and call-to-action impact in a format designed for quick public consumption.
