Client: The Long Beach Island Foundation of the Arts & Sciences

Objective: Design a dynamic, multi-call-to-action print advertisement for placement in the LBI Rotary Holiday Auction booklet to increase awareness of LBIF’s year-round programming, event offerings, and membership opportunities. The goal was to leverage the Rotary audience — a civic-minded, community-focused readership — to drive engagement, bookings, donations, and program enrollment.

Target Audience: Philanthropically engaged Long Beach Island residents, Rotary members, business leaders, and community supporters attending or browsing the Holiday Auction booklet. The audience includes individuals interested in charitable impact, cultural programming, weddings and private events, educational opportunities for children, and meaningful ways to support local nonprofits.

The advertisement centers around the energetic headline “Join the Fun!” to create immediate warmth and invitation, aligning with the celebratory spirit of the Rotary Holiday Auction. A structured grid layout organizes multiple offerings — weddings, drop-in ceramics, membership renewal, donations, summer camp, and advertising/sponsorships — into digestible sections, preventing information overload while maximizing visibility.

Photography adds authenticity and emotional connection, showcasing real experiences across age groups, from families and children to couples and community members. Clear typographic hierarchy ensures each initiative has a defined headline, supporting description, and action prompt, guiding readers toward specific next steps.

By combining visual energy, organized structure, and diverse calls-to-action, the design solves the challenge of promoting a multifaceted nonprofit within a single ad space — presenting LBIF not as a single event venue, but as a vibrant, year-round cultural hub worthy of engagement and support.
